On Thursday we did a shoot in the photography studio. I managed to convince my photography teachers to let me book the studio for an hour and half so that I can shoot content in the studio with the band members. Lily also came to the shooting for a little bit. Me and Maia made sure that the band members arrived and we showed them the mood boards we created as inspiration for the shoot. The band were very good to work with and I managed to take a lot of very good professional photographs.
Even though we had a bit of time pressure because of the time, but Maia and I managed to finish with valuable content that I would be able to use for finishing the digipack, for which the main thing I needed at this time was a good quality photograph of the whole band together. I will edit some of this content so that it will be suitable for the instagram account and suite the 'vibe' we are going for.
In this shoot I focused on getting all the group photographs that we needed/planned and did it thoroughly, because in most of the other shoots the girls took photographs that were maybe suitable for a few posts on the instagram. I also took photographs of the separately.
Maia and I tried to have a very warm, but professional approach to the band members during this shoot. So that they would feel comfortable and listen to the instructions I as the photographer was giving them.
