The night before the shoot day, I received a message from one of our band members, that he tested positive for covid – this meant there was no way he was going to be there in the morning for the shoot day. So very fast we had to find a guitarist, show them the song, talk them through what the video would look like and what we needed them to do.
Luckily, I remembered one of the girls, Ari, that was cast for our original song choice, and I knew she was good on guitar. She agreed to be in the music video. I told her to not worry about the costume, that I would provide that. (Dickie’s capris and a top)
Another problem ON THE shoot day was that one of our guitarists showed up without a guitar. So, this resolved in me running around school looking for a spare guitar and then a strap. I managed to find a strap, and then also a guitar. This took a bit of time from our shooting schedule, but luckily didn’t impact our day significantly.
